Inspiration

Really good animation is not accomplished by the lazy… it is often back breaking work leaning over an animation desk for hours at a time – only to accomplish a second or two of film time. Ubbe Iwerks, Walt Disney’s early (and later) business partner and artist historically produced over 600 drawings in one day. This was in the early years of animation and the drawing finesse that came later was not there then, but still, it is a marvel that Ubbe could produce such a volume of usable animation in such a short amount of time. I’m pretty sure this record has never come close to being broken. Wally sure seems daunted at the idea!
