IT’S ALL ABOUT STORY!

Walt Disney was adamant about story development. They might work on a story for YEARS then cast it aside a few more years and work on something else. Later, if someone came up with an answer to the original story problems, they would dig the old story out and work on it some more. THAT was the secret to Disney’s theatrical successes. I’m not so sure that process is so stringent as it used to be, but then I don’t sit in on the meetings!
