According to sources, cats have been domesticated for approximately 9,500 years… This explains why they are so entirely unpredictable and slightly wild. Dogs, as today’s strip indicates, have had quite a head start in the process. I suppose this is why I am a dog person; I think I trust an animal that won’t try to eat me while I’m asleep!
